While the Member Only Dance Party was this weekend, many Non-Members revolted. “This isn’t fair!” Says one non-member. “We demand the same rights as the rest of penguins!” Other penguins said that they were a non-member and proud to be one.
“It isn’t naturally fair,” Said one member, “for them to not be allowed in. However, it is fair to us because we paid for our membership. It’s a lose-lose-win situation.” I guess our opinions will just have to wait for this spectacular member party! With all of this confusion, it’s almost impossible to imagine finding Cadence, the new celebrity penguin. Much like Rockhopper, Cadence is a penguin that only appears during special events of its nature.
A rumor that has been going around is that you must get off of the metal on the Dance Club’s roof for Cadence to appear. This is incorrect, and is just a myth. The metal is just a jet pack lander, and, in this case, a dance floor, and Cadence is not underneath it. If you think about it, if she was under it, she would be in the lounge.
This is a picture of Cadence, the new penguin. As you can see, she too gives away a free item. Reminds us all a lot of Rockhopper. Keep your eyes open and your flippers ready for when Rockhopper may return! Cadence liked to be on the Night Club roof, and at this time she has only shown her face to members. Non-members were not allowed into the party, so they were not allowed to meet Cadence. The gift that she gave away was an autographed background, just like our old pirate pal. Now that we have a new celebrity penguin, we might have more dance parties for opportunities to see Cadence! Just like Rockhopper, we can expect to see her soon!
In other news, the Ice Berg still hasn’t tipped, though Aunt Arctic made it very clear in the newspaper (of a few months ago) that it is possible. She said that we might need to try our drills. We here at the press agree, and that is why we are having an “Ice Berg Drilling Party” on the Ice Berg on IceLand, 9:00 am. PST of next Sunday. Even if it doesn’t work, we will still have a great time and many laughs. After the party, my igloo (Alex31440’s) will be open to the public for a chill period. It’s recommended to have participated in the drilling party to attend. Let’s see if we can tip the ice by having the room FULL of drilling penguins! More information soon.
Currently, I am working on an Item Log. If anyone knows the official names of any items from 2005-2006, please post them. Any additional information would be helpful, too. Example: The golden Viking helmet was in a catalogue sometime between December 2006- April 2007, hidden and expensive.
There is new Igloo furniture, also! Dance items (including a DJ station and concert lights, brought back from last year, and an individual dance floor, brought back from 2006) and FiEsTa appliances overwhelm any viewer! There is also a new pin this week. It is the Taco Pin, and it can be found where you find what the time may be. We would not like to give away the entire location, just an extremely obvious hint.
The fiesta of snow is coming up, and we are all very excited! For the last few years, they have been giving away striped maracas as party favors. Will this year be the same? Only time will tell! We can all expect so much from Disney! Begins January 23rd.
January 30th, there will be a new Snow and Sports catalogue. The news says, “Grab the latest in sports gear, and get your game on!” so we really won’t know till we get there.
Early in the morning on Sunday, January 18, 2009, penguins all over Abominable started a peace riot! “There is no winning in war!” Say a mighty large crowd of penguins. “Stop the war! Start the peace!” I guess our fellow penguins have decided that Coins for Change wasn’t enough of a change for them! Penguins everywhere are making an impact on what happens out of the beta systems! And that’s …in the now!
What’s NOW!
Parties: Colleges and fashion shows are definitely neck & neck to lead in what’s the hot party subject of the week! Everyone is setting up their own little college with dorms, and the fashion shows are a little “board game” of their own! As a runner up, coffee shops really take a hit. People put on their own aprons and become a part of the employees, and others wait to be served at their tables! You definitely don’t want to go out there saying just “party at my place” to grab a penguin’s attention anymore, and that’s the truth!
Clothes: The clothes in the catalogue are perfect for any day, especially the girl’s neon dress. But in first place for guys’ clothes is the black hoodie! Make sure to wear some wacky hair style with that, you guys! In first place for girls’ outfit is a tie with the green & pink winter jackets and the cheerleader outfits. “There are just so many to choose from!” Says local penguin Kisa_Ienzo.
Servers: You are likely to find famous penguins such as Dark Ice and Shadow on Crystal, Abominable, Fjord, Alpine, Snow Globe, and Tuxedo!
Rooms: The night club for sure, with a new game and all, is a popular room at the moment, but the Town and individual igloos really support the idea.
Games: The new DDR game in the Night Club, Sled Racing, and Cart Surfer from what I can tell. What do YOU think the most popular games are at the moment?

As we all know, over the weekend Club Penguin had a member only dance party to debut both Cadence and a new game, not to mention all access to the roof of the Night Club. What we DIDN’T know is that Club Penguin would extend the party! Here is the news article’s date:
