Okay, and one of my FAVORITE* widgets– Chinsetakout’s PIN WIDGET! Updated every week, new code every week. Here’s a link to the updated Pin Page:

The code they give you requires you to have widgets on the side of your page… I don’t like doing that, so here’s a walkthrough on how to use the widget as only a LINK and refresher to your page, instead of using the html code. ^_^;

1) Clicky the link I gave you. http://sites.google.com/site/chinsetakout/Home

2) Either click the widget or right click it and click “properties”… If you click the widget, copy the new page’s html. If you clicked Properties, copy the html under [Adress (URL)]

3) Go to your dashboard

4) Under “Links”, click “Add New”.

5) Set the html to http://sites.google.com/site/chinsetakout/Home , and/or your homepage.

6) At the bottom, place the imgsrce (the Adress/URL/Html that you copied earlier)

7) Save– Tada! All without using the main Widgets. ^-^ Make sure you update it whenever the pin changes, though.

 

Reading The News W/o Reading The News

This has always been my favorite… The main html is http://media1.clubpenguin.com/play/v2/content/local/en/news/20090827.swf 

 

To us it just looks like a weird .swf html… But! Look at the end of it– 20090827– That’s the date of the most recent newspaper at the time of this post! August 27th, 2009. So if you want to read the LAST newspaper, change the end to that newspaper’s release date. So, instead of 20090827, 20090820!

 

Every few weeks they delete the newspaper– I think they only keep the links for the current news and 2 or 3 previous newspapers, before the swf stops working.
